Small Account Guaranteed Savings Contract

The Power Group has arranged with a leading supplier to offer a simple guaranteed savings contract for smaller commercial accounts. The contract locks in a rate below ComEd’s set tariffed charge. This particular contract can be canceled at any time for a modest $100 fee. Eligibility

This Agreement is only applicable to non-residential accounts eligible for rate BES and less than 100kW as designated at the time of enrollment. These accounts typically spend less than $25,000 in annual electric costs. Customer’s minimum usage must also be greater than 15,000 kilowatt-hours annually.

How do the guaranteed savings work?

The account is charged exact ComEd supply and transmission rates. The discount is then applied to the account's total charges and subtracted from the amount due. Each invoice will list the total savings for the month compared with the account's utility rates. All other charges (distribution, taxes, etc.) are passed-through directly from ComEd.

Will I receive just one bill?

Yes. You will receive one bill from the supplier every month after the switch. The utility continues to deliver the electricity to your business and those charges will also be on the invoice. You’ll make one payment to supplier and they pay ComEd for the distribution charges on your bill.

What happens if the power goes out?

You call ComEd just as you would now. ComEd remains responsible for delivering electric power to your account. ComEd will continue to be paid for the supply and distribution of electric power to your account.
